IT ONLY TAKES 26¢ A DAY
TO SAVE A LIFE
Finding homes for older cats is much more difficult than it is for kittens. Many organizations will just write these At-Risk cats off as a lost cause. We want all of these amazing cats to have another chance at life with a loving family, but we need your help.
The truth is that most adult cats will spend more time living at the shelter or require specialized medical treatment before they are adoptable. Your support will give them the time they need to find their forever home. Your donation will go directly towards the lifesaving care for the most vulnerable cats in our community.

APRIL FUNDRAISER FOR WILSON
Hi! My name is Wilson.
I have been living on the streets of Providence for a while. A nice person from Pawswatch noticed that I have been limping around on three legs, so she trapped me and brought me to the veterinarian at Paaws RI.
Once at the vet, I got some shots and was neutered. Unfortunately, the doctor found out that more than half the skin on my left front leg was missing!
Now, my leg needs to get bandaged every few days, and Dr. Rauch is trying to save my leg.
So, I have two big problems now.
One is that stray cats in Providence have crummy health insurance, and my medical bills are mounting. Any donations toward my care would be GREATLY appreciated.
My second problem is that I don’t want to go back to living on the streets. I am very tame, I rub on you and purr like crazy. I eat well, and I always use my litter box.
Once my leg is better, I would like to be adopted. Maybe YOU can be my human?

Bailey was approximately 8 yrs old when we adopted him. He is a beautiful Siamese who we adore.
He has been in our lives for over 2 years and we enjoy him so much.
We adopted her almost 3 years ago. When we saw her at the shelter it was love at first sight. She had 5 kittens who got adopted but no one took mama! I cannot imagine my life without her. Thank you for this gift and letting us be her forever home.
Lola was adopted in January 2016. She took some time to warm up but she is very happy in her “furever” home. She loves to snuggle me, will sit on my shoulders, sit on my lap while at the desk. She is the love of my life. I love this kitty so much. I couldn’t picture my life without her.
PAAWS RI is an approved 501(c)(3), non-profit animal rescue group and shelter, founded in 2011 by Dr. Annette Rauch.
Our mission is to aid the most helpless populations of animals in our community. We provide at-risk cats with the surgical and rehabilitation services they need before they can be adopted.
All of our critical, life-saving funds come from generous donors who believe in our mission statement. Those funds are used for the treatment and care of homeless, forgotten and feral cats until they are ready to be placed in loving homes.
