Hi! My name is Rory. I was abandoned and left to fend for myself on the streets. They found me in a feral cat colony, but I never belonged there. I had a rough life before I came to the shelter, but they have really helped me get back on my paws.
I have the FIV virus because someone bit me while I was living outside. It’s nothing to be afraid of and just means that I get to spend more time with you instead of other cats.
I also had some fancy surgery done on my eyelids, because my fur was growing into my eyes. I feel much better and my favorite thing to do is to find a comfy window sill with a good view.
I have been living at the shelter for quite a while now, and would really like to find a family of my own. I might look a little grumpy, but don’t be fooled! I’m very friendly and love attention. Will you come and visit me?
I am neutered, up to date with all my shots and I am microchipped!
I have Feline Immunodeficiency Virus and recently underwent successful eye surgery.
I need my eyes and ears cleaned regularly.
I should be monitored for any signs of upper-respiratory illness which needs to be caught early due to the FIV.
Click on the “Adopt me” button and submit a completed adoption application to make me a part of your family. Please contact us if you have any questions.
PAAWS RI has an open house event every Saturday at 11am. I would love it if you came to visit me along with all of my other wonderful friends that are also looking for their forever home. Visit the Events Page for more information on the open house and other events from the shelter.
